    hi all

    I have a DVD recorder LG - H73N
I find it hard to burn dvd-dl video with Nero 9.
as we all know, now, nero supports burning with "Layer-Jump Recording (LJR) ...
Is it true that my recorder does not support LJR?

    thank you

There have been very few posts related to Nero 9 and the posts I've seen have not been favorable. My own personal experience has not been pleasant. I've been an ardent user for many years but 9 was released with many problems.

as we all know, now, nero supports burning with "Layer-Jump Recording (LJR) ...
Is it true that my recorder does not support LJR

Until the product is in enough people's hands and Nero gets their act together, I don't think your question can be answered.

Note: I went to their website and could not find any information in their support links for LJR.

According to the drive's specs, it supports burning DL media. Try burning with imgburn. If it is successful, it could confirm that Nero 9 continues to be a problem program.

An additional issue is the media you are using. The only DL media consistently recommended and supported among CDF members is Verbatim.

    P. S. I believe I misunderstood your use of the term LJR. Apparently, you meant Nero supports DL media.

  • Compatible with inkjet printable discs?
  • Question by abricru, Monday 18th of August 2008 17:01
I was looking to buy some inkjet printable discs for the first time and ran across a site that said some disc drives are not compatible with that kind of disc, and can even do damage to it.  How do I know whether my LG GSA-H73N can handle this type of disc? Thanks for any help Smilie

    Welcome to CDFreaks Smilie

Inkjet printable discs, are regular discs with an inkjet printable surface.

I've never heard of a modern burner that's not compatible or able to burn them as normal. So I'm sure your LG drive will burn them just fine.

Be sure to pick a good brand (such as Verbatim) for best burning results, though. Smilie
