Beautiful discs, thicker than many discs containing Hollywood films. Verbatim's MCC001 DVD+RW, advertise at 'up to 6x' burns family movies only at 2x on LaCie's Samsung-Toshiba LightScribe external writers. Never a coaster with Energy Saver off, ice pack for cooling; but this will burn Verbatim's MCC004 DVD+R LightScribe at 18x w/o coasters; so these are better to distribute to large family. Verbatim's not having LightScribe for their DVD+RW MKMA02 is reasonable, but DVD+R DL MCC004 should. Not yet archival: keep out of sunlight. (I use black paper folder with cellophane windows, fume-free archival paper insert with details. Keep one copy in Al box for archiving: to be copied to archival media when affordable. 2x DL perfect for initial archiving, 18x SL for family distributing. No coasters: most economical of price, time, future reliability.
