I was wondering if after you set it to make a image on the pc, can you then reburn that image to a cd and play the cd as normal?

My products
Unfortunately, I have no consumer electronic products in my possession. Also, there are no products I have on my wannahaves list at this moment. My Reactions:
I don't understand. So if I have all my cds ripped and then copied to my mp3 Player. I then take the mp3 player to the Airport, how will they know if its pirated or not. SIMPLE (THEY DO NOT KNOW AND CANNOT FIND OUT AT ALL). I don't see this working. Also, not sure about other countries, but in the US, for the US to search your property (digital or otherwise) they need warrants.
But since this is with Customs, I guess this only deals with International Traffic?

I think they should just skip the whole blu-ray till the next xbox. By then, blu-ray should be cheap enough to include. Also, if they really wanted to include it now, it should just be an add-on. Another note dealing with price would be if they include it built-in, then I guess they would have to sell it for $400 to compete with PS3. This would mean current xbox's (including Elite) would have to be like $200 and $300. Which, wouldn't be a bad move either, except they wouldn't be making as much...

Lol...forcing PS3 users to keep on waiting....havent they been waiting since the console was released. Isn't it time some awesome software was released. Isn't it time the PS3 was thought of as a game machine with blue-ray capability, instead of the other way around.

umm...neo....I have bluray PS3 and upconverting player... If you are right next to the screen, you can tell a difference. You are able to see the pixels on the dvd, versus hardly any pixelation on bluray. (I have a Sony 40 inch HDTV) But if you sit back farther, like 10-15 feet, and set the TV preset to vivid, upconverting dvd looks pretty damn close. Close enough to not warrant at least $300 for a player + High costing movies. This is why I haven't bought any blu-ray movies. Because they are...

"Everyone needs to boycott Bluray and keep buying DVD with its CSS and ~4.5 gig file sizes."
Umm..I agree with you wanting to stick with dvd...but give it credit where it's due....its 8.5 gb. Most dvds...correction...all dvds now are dual-layer

This is a crap article. Most phones that play music only let you play the music you buy from the Phone companies at their "cheap" $3 a song prices. Only on some of the newer models have they started letting you put your own mp3s on.
On most phones I dealt with, you have to "hack" your phone to get it play your music and ringtones that you make. The phone companies are too busy trying to sell you everything for a premium. This is why phones will never take off as a mp3 player unless the phone...

I think this is where I stop buying discs. This is one reason why many say digital downloads are the future. Why spend thousands of dollars on discs and discs players when 10 years down the line, they are obsolete. I've have bought over 200 dvds, and now realize that there is no point in buying movies anymore. DVD only lasted 10 years. Granted, it will be in the marketplace for a long time still, but the studios will eventually abondon it if more people pick up on blu-ray.
Now, the only way...

I think this is pretty cool. Not only can you hook it up to your pc, but it also inclues left and right audio for hooking it up to a home stereo, so you can listen to your records. I'm not sure if this is a "quality" player though, I don't know much about record players, so please someone tell me if this is just a cheapo design, or if it is well worth my $150.

I think this is the most retarded thing ever. Who in their right mind would spend money on a stand alone buner when you can buy a dvd burner for your computer for cheaper and it can burn a million other things and works with DL media as well.

Agreed. If GTAIV can all fit on one dvd, I think a linear type game such as Metal Gear could fit on a dvd.

Yep, pretty much, price is factor. If movie studios were smart and wanted another high-def disc format, they should've went with HD-DVD. But now, the lowest price of Blu-Ray player is $350. Not to mention that ALL Blu-Ray Players that you buy today (except PS3) won't support Profile 2.0.

Next thing you know...all early adoptors will be sueing because their tech doesn't support 2.0 profile discs....oh wait, even the newest blu-ray players out now don't even support 2.0 spec discs....(besides PS3). Sux to be someone who buys a Blu-Ray Player even now, unless it is a PS3.

Yea, I don't like the new design either, it looks to busy and confusing. I liked the old, how it had everything on the main page.
Now, about the article, people, boycott this stuff to death....why buy crap that tells you want you can do with it....only buy if dvdjon can crack it...lol

One thing wrong about this article, and actually I think unfortunate....it says Zune will be using WMP 11 with its own store set as default. This is wrong....Zune actually is going to have its own software altogether, not using WMP at all, just a whole new software program, which, I think is very very retarded. Think about it, you are going to have freaking two players on your computer from one company, you would think they would be smart and do it the way this article suggests. Also, you would...

So Let me get this straight. Who would want to buy this. Really, who cares about copy-protecting their burned video content. Not to mention who would want to pay more just to use this, but it is only effective in an HP or Philips DVD player/burner. Seriously, why pay more money for blanks that you already have to, not to mention the fact that it doesn't work in all players/burners. (Oh yea, also NO BODY WANTS THIS CRAP). Why do they have dumb compies like Ricoh keep spending tons of money on...
