LFP Video Group to distribute 1st Blu-ray adult movie

It looks like Adult content may no longer be a factor in pushing one HD format over another with the announcement that the LFP Video Group is set to release what it claims to be the very first Blu-ray DVD adult movie. The LFP Video Group will partner with New Media Adult Entertainment to release a title featuring Jenna Haze this summer throughout the country. This adult movie will be made available in Blu-ray, HD DVD and even Windows Media Video HD (WMV HD).
Despite a Japanese studio claiming to already have adult content out on Blu-ray, the LFP Video Group claims that that they are the first to do this. Then again, assuming the Japanese adult film is available within Japan only, LFP's upcoming release will be the first adult movie outside of Japan. Now that LFP is set to release the first Blu-ray title, at least outside of Japan, it will be interesting to see quickly other adult movie producers try taking on the Blu-ray format again to compete.

I just have one question. Why keep making NEW porn? I mean, honestly, who even watches more than 15 minutes of a porn flick anyway? After a massage with a "happy ending", do you stay and talk to the masseuse? No, you go home or out for a beer with the boys. Maybe, if you're feeling adventurous, you go shopping for some new power tools.
You would think 40 years worth of smut would be enough to get your average person off. Why do we need new smut? I seriously doubt you could make a smut movie today that brings anything new to the table.

It's not about watching p0rn. It's about collecting as much p0rn as humanly possible.
It's a "bragging rights" thing. 
Same is true with mainstream DVDs. How many of us have unopened DVDs? Why did we buy them if we weren't gonna open and watch them?

True. I have about 600 DVDs and about 75 are unopened. My copy of Rocky IV is still unopened and I bought it in 1999.
Stupid question.
1. Sex sells more than anything else.

3. Why do people pay to watch the Spider Man movies? Didn't we already see them when they were called "Superman"?

Can I have some of whatever you're smoking? Lighten up. It was a personal observation. I know sex sells, I'm its best customer. Whoever said I'd be watching the same sex scene? We have 40 years of mainstream porn out there. I'm just saying that porn isn't like regular movies. There are no plots. If we have 40 years worth of smut, I don't think 41 years will benefit anyone. It isn't like people watch as much porn as regular movies.

The internet is a much better way to watch porn. Instant streaming porn that allows you to cherry pick the best scenes from thousands of flicks as opposed to expensive dvd's. Who wants hi-def porn anyway? Sorry it isnt going to make them look better, probably worse.
