According to Home Media Magazine Blockbuster said that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is the company's top DVD supplier. This happened at a summit in Dallas last week where the company also announced Activision Blizzard to be the top game supplier.

Several presentations were given by CEO Jim Keyes and Blockbuster executives. The main reason behind the annual summit was to show vendors that the DVD rental giant is expanding and meeting the challenges of an increasingly diverse home entertainment market.

“We wanted to make sure our suppliers knew what we at Blockbuster are doing to grow our business and how that can translate into their own business growth,” David Podeschi, SVP at Blockbuster, told Home Media Magazine.
