$500 off SSD-based MacBook Air

The designer's brand Apple has just dropped half a grand off on their SSD-based MacBook Air giving many an extra reason to run around with the stylish notebook. Main reason behind the decline must be the sequential decline of NAND flash memory prices.

The super slim 13-inch 1.8GHz MacBook Air with a 64GB SSD dropped from $3098 to $2598. Two components played a role in this price cut. First we saw that Apple reduced the price ogf the notebook's 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor upgrade by $100 to $200. Secondly Apple cut the cost of Flash-memory based 64GB SSD drive upgrade to $599 from $999 meaning you can now grab the Air for as little as $2398.
