The Digital Living Network Alliance hopes to make all of our electronics "get along" with their latest initiative. They face the challenge of getting a consensus amoungst its members, since some already have well developed plans. The thorny issuse of content protection technology has yet to be addressed.

The guidelines include the standards chosen by the alliance to lead to the best experience for the consumer. The group also is developing a logo that companies can use to indicate that products are compatible with one other. |
