Damn, how could this possible, 90MIN?!?!?!

Isn't 80 min the maximum already?

So can this 90min also be overburned?
How many recorders support this cdr?...mmmm
can all standard cdplayers play these cd's?

if they cant they r wortheless!
Sounds pretty cool, but does any of you guys know of a URL so you can check if your burner copes this 90 mins cd's??
Gee, I have known about these 90mins cdr for a month now, I bought 10 to try out! They work fine with Nero 5 and my 12x Plexor. You do have to set the o/b option in Nero to 90mins, otherwise you are pissing in the wind, lol :0)
CD Freaks rulez !
I tested these cd's a few months ago. And I hope they improved a lot because otherwise some people will be very disappointed.

"tested on cebit2000 Hanover"
You 2 roels larekkie :-)
These CD's do not work with every Audio-CD-Player. I tested it and 1 out of 5 CD-Players could not read the 'end' of the CD. A strange thing also: My Plex 12x could write a Data CD with ~ 790 MB, but now cannot read it anymore. I think these CD's are crap and should not be used just for fun because of the mentioned compatibility problems.
They are not to be practical. They're just being cool
Hey Dudes...I can tell you these cdr's r top of the line and guess what...GOOD NEWS !!!

I can deliver them at 4.995,- bef. in stead of 5.800,- bef.

with free delivery when ya bye 500 cdrs...thats about 2.6 guildes a cdr...is this a good price or what ???

great 90 minutes

BUT!!!!!

only readable on 4 kinds of cd readers

and writeable on 6 burners

4 of them are plextor

and there is no garuantee that de burn process

will succeed

this is written on the backside of the platinum 90min

cdr's

hmmmmm,not that great huh

99% of all cdrom devices can't

read this cd's

whoehaaaahahahaahahahah

Cyberdude - this is not a shop

My question is how come this technology has never been used for copy protection - or do i speak too soon?
I only 1% of readers/burners can read them, then there is no point in using them as part of a copy protection.
heheh, nice if they worked.

Traxdata is gonna release

them 100min cd's soon, so I think we will have the same prob.
Bulshit all those cd-r's

I know the solution for all your problems BUY A DVD RAM .

My defence rests....
Does somebody know's a site where I can order a DVD RAM ??

Anybody ?

:-)
hey, Cyberdude

www.bcom.de is selling them for 1.35 DM/piece wholesale, nice profit you got there!!!!!!

btw. platinum CDRs suck big time
RoNiN:

DVD-RAM is only readable in a DVD-RAM device, that's even less than 1% of the readers/burners out there....better wait 'till the DVD+RW arrive.
The problem with cdr media over 80 min is as I understand that the space that is normally used for sobcoding (error correction) is reduced in favor of data.

This means that a 90 or 100 min disc will take less beating and easier become unreadable. No need to use this media unless it is way to bypass a copyprotection.

please correct me if I`m wrong!!!
I have the latest plexwriter and bought 100 90 min/800 Mb cd's but I can't burn past the 700 Mb barrier either with these new CD's or the standard 80 min cd's...I have almost 100 gig's that need to be backed up and every file is 700 to 800 Mb..Im using Nero 5 but I can't find a speed/overburn test in the demo version like it is here on the site...any help would be appreciated..
