Gee, I have known about these 90mins cdr for a month now, I bought 10 to try out! They work fine with Nero 5 and my 12x Plexor. You do have to set the o/b option in Nero to 90mins, otherwise you are pissing in the wind, lol :0)

I tested these cd's a few months ago. And I hope they improved a lot because otherwise some people will be very disappointed.

These CD's do not work with every Audio-CD-Player. I tested it and 1 out of 5 CD-Players could not read the 'end' of the CD. A strange thing also: My Plex 12x could write a Data CD with ~ 790 MB, but now cannot read it anymore. I think these CD's are crap and should not be used just for fun because of the mentioned compatibility problems.

I only 1% of readers/burners can read them, then there is no point in using them as part of a copy protection.

RoNiN:
DVD-RAM is only readable in a DVD-RAM device, that's even less than 1% of the readers/burners out there....better wait 'till the DVD+RW arrive.

The problem with cdr media over 80 min is as I understand that the space that is normally used for sobcoding (error correction) is reduced in favor of data.
This means that a 90 or 100 min disc will take less beating and easier become unreadable. No need to use this media unless it is way to bypass a copyprotection.
please correct me if I`m wrong!!!

I have the latest plexwriter and bought 100 90 min/800 Mb cd's but I can't burn past the 700 Mb barrier either with these new CD's or the standard 80 min cd's...I have almost 100 gig's that need to be backed up and every file is 700 to 800 Mb..Im using Nero 5 but I can't find a speed/overburn test in the demo version like it is here on the site...any help would be appreciated..
