Until the 17th of February TiVo HD has an offer. If you sign a one year contract of $12,95 a month they will give you the first three months for free.

When buying the TiVo HD DVR during this promo you will come out slightly ahead of a comparable package, says Engadget HD. Another interesting point is that the deal can't be combined with a multi-service discount.

Pay $300 plus $12.95/month for HD Tivo. Or $10/mo for a DVR from my cable company. Not really a hard choice.
