Acoustica Spin It Again record your vinyl to CD or MP3

Acoustica Inc (TM) , Oakhurst, CA, (February 24, 2006) Acoustica Inc. released Spin It Again Version 1.1.

Spin It Again can easily record your old vinyl records and cassettes to CD or MP3 files. In addition to recording your tapes and LPs, dividing tracks up and burning CDs, it also cleans your recordings!!  Get rid of those clicks and pops and crackles!!  Just select a preset from the drop down and it's instantly cleaned!  Pick a preset such as "Damaged Record 1", "Vinyl Declick & Decrackle", or "Clean Anything! You can also record your records and cassettes to your iPod or portable MP3 player!

?Since my records are from the seventies, it wasn't hard to find a side with clicks and pops.  Click and pop removal was really easy to use and did a great job. I did some cross checking using two other programs for sound quality.  I recorded 3 CDs and played them in my car.  There was a drastic difference in sound.  Yours was clearly superior!  Bass and high freqs came through clear and strong.  The entire sound spectrum was very rich.  Background noises did not come through.  The other programs are really weak and need loads of work!  Some of their noise reduction routines distort in the higher freqs. Clicks & Pops was one of their culprits! I did send a note to WinXP News about your programs.  That should give you a boost.?

Nice software, but you still need a physical turntable preamp before attaching the turntable to the PC, according to http://www.acoustica.com/spinitagain/faq.asp?qID=238
