Digital Playground, a major adult movie studio, has announced that they will release eight new movies on Blu-ray in February. Not so long ago the studio the company released most of its movies on Blu-ray and the last release was a big succes. The last release sold far better than we could have predicted, says a representative.

Many PlayStation 3 owners started e-mailing with a simple question... When are you going to release on Blu-ray? With giving the owners what they wished for, Digital Playground will now release an extra of eight movies on Blu-ray next February.

Digital Playground will continue to support both HD-DVD as Blu-ray, but Blu-ray gets the majority of the movies right now.
