eranro used our newssubmit to tell us that there are rumors that also Yamaha pulls the SCSI plug.
My computer dealer tells me he just received an a message from his Yamaha reseller that they will no longer make or sell SCSI burners! After Plextor and Teac - is there anyone left??
Well, there goes the neighborhood ...
I was realy hoping for a 40X12X40 SCSI burner. Guess I'll have to free up an IDE and retire my 2940
Note that these are only rumors for now, and have not been confirmed by Yamaha yet. But because there is always so much discussion about SCSI overhere, I thought it would be intresting to post.

It's a shame, there's a big market for quality SCSI burners. There are a lot of power users out there that don't want to go the cheaper, slower, less powerful ide route.
