Anonymous freenet - pirates heaven.
At the moment 12 coders are working on a project Freenet. This new network that uses the internet, should asure the privacy of the user, so the user is not to find. It works like the technology of Napster (a populair platform to exchange MP3's). The system does not use IP addresses and is programmed in Java (it's open source). Only the server part of is ready and client software should be available soon.

Freenet promises to be a heaven for pirates. Not only is everything untraceable, the technology makes sure that no-one can sabotage it, because it uses no central servers. All the data that is on the net, will be stored on several places, so if they take down one server, there is no problem. This promises to be THE tool to distribute illegal software !
