While surfing the net we found some information about the Asus CRW-4012A drive. Still not officially released, so take these specifications with a small grin of salt.

Maybe just the drive you need? Could it compete with the already excisting drives? Let's wait and see. The drive is expected to be delivered in larger quantities in april, and the estimated price is 169 euro.

I'll buy that for a dollar! Burning to 99 mins, now that is a bit of me, great for VCDs. My Plextors can only burn to 90 mins...
