Best Buy offers HD DVD owners $50 gift card
Best Buy now follows other retailers by reaching out to the casualties of the format war, the consumers. For weeks there has been a debate about the retailers... Japanese retailers offered their clients a 'return-period', they could change their obsolete HD DVD player for a brand-new Blu-ray player. Others didn't do anything and companies like Best Buy waited a long time before they announced this $50 Gift Card.
If you bought a HD DVD player at Best Buy before the 23rd of February you can get a $50 complimentary gift card. Most customers will get their gift card mailed to their houses, but if this doesn't happen Best Buy says you should call or come by.
So, how about going their right now!
