Bose Wave/PC: speaker system, clock radio and audio manager

Bose, you might know the name from the famous speakersets, has introduced a new device, the Bose Wave/PC a combination of speaker system, clock radio and computer audio manager.

Once you have the system set up, you're ready to rock. You can listen to MP3 and WAV digital audio files that you create from your own CDs or download from online music sites. And more:

The Wave/PC doesn't stop with mere playback, however. The software can record CDs to your hard drive for later listening. The software even searches an Internet database and automatically displays artist, album, track and other information every time you insert a CD. Creating customized playlists'”let's say you like to cool down from the Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil" with Pavarotti's "Core 'ngrato"'”is as simple as dragging and dropping the songs you want to hear. The software's search function makes it a snap to find any piece of music you want in under a second, even if you have thousands of songs recorded. And the included credit card-size remote control lets you access your PC music files while lazing in the Barcalounger across the room.

Indeed a nice device, but I guess not many people will buy a device like this, there are more convinient and cheaper ways of doing the same, eg. with just your PC.
