CyberLink, well known for its PowerDVD software, was kind enough to send us their latest CyberLink DVD Suite Ultra 6 for review. This suite consists of 10 powerful applications and is targeted at those interested in creating, editing and watching content all the way up to high definition, such as everything from mobile compatible content to full 1080p for Blu-ray and HD DVD.
The main highlights of Version 6 include support for high definition video including commercial Blu-ray and HD DVD movies with Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD and DTS audio. New editing capabilities include importing and capturing of HD content, AVCHD suppport, HD video output, improved video stabilisation and auto-correcting of backlighting and colour calibration. This version can also author content for Blu-ray and HD DVD, including support for 5.1 channel Dolby Digital sound.
This review has been carried out by our reviewer and moderator Kip R. and takes a close look at Power2Go, LabelPrint, PowerBackup, PowerDVD and PowerDirector, as well as a look at the other applications. The review includes screenshots from each application as well as run-through showing how each application works.
