CDBurnerXP is back

Unbelievable 3 years after their latest release the team around CDBurnerXP announced the release of a totally new version of the software.

Compared to older Versions, the size of the new version 4.0 is reduced from 10MB to 2MB. According to the developers, a lot of features have been removed and only the really important main task has been improved - Burning Discs.

Here a list of the most important improvements:

  • Support for new technologies like Double layer DVDs, Blu-ray and HD-DVDs
  • Internationalisation (i18n): Support for multi-byte characters on discs and translations of the program
  • Support for FLAC audio files
  • Disc-to-disc copy for audio and data
  • Save discs and compilations as ISO file
  • Support for WPL playlists
  • XML based project files for interoperability
  • Fixed many bugs of 3.0.116 and 3.5

All those who are interested in testing this nice little program can find it over at the CDBurnerXP website here. Don't forget to report us your findings over in our Forum
