CeBIT: Vestel showcases Full HD Plasma TV

A company that some might not know is Vestel. The company is based in Turkey and is the largest TV manufacturer in Europe, accounting for 21% of the total TV, and 11% of the LCD TV, as well as 25% of the digital set-top boxes, markets in Europe.

Vestel is also at this week's CeBIT and showcases several new products... Notebooks, LCD monitors, interactive hotel TV and a new Full HD Plasma TV. This TV enables the viewer to watch video from full HD sources in their original resolution (1920x1080). During an interview at their stand they told us that their products work perfectly with consoles like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. 'It creates the best gaming experience.'

Another introduced product is a new 100 Hz LCD TV. This TV can handle gaming content too and some technologies are updated and deleted from the product. This makes this LCD TV different from its predecessors. The motion judder effect on fast moving objects is removed by inserting calculated frames in between the original frames. This makes the image smoother and sharper.

Our interview with Baris Altinkaya of Vestel will be online when it's edited!
