Clone CD author about the cracks.....

I tried it, it doesn't work fully. Settings aren't saved (as in Demo Mode), but the "nag" requesters are gone. Trying a simulated write to my HP9210i threw an exception.
BTW, this is a technically very skilled crack attempt, I am - in a way - impressed.
To patch CloneCD in memory after all the CRC checks are done is indeed a cool idea.
But don't expect this attack to work in the future :-)

This one is for olly or olli..whatever:-) If ur still using Armadillo get a live. I think u can do better then using a commercial protection. Write ur own PE crypter and use some RSA for ur serials. RSA is more pain in the ass for us crackers...if u use it correct
Like all commerical protections they will not stand for a long time
Programs protected by armadillo can easily be unpacked completely, like we did with our crack for Armadillo v1.77.
And anti loader code will not work too...
Well just want to say this..
Greetz,
Wax

I don't think it is armadillo.
It is ASPROTECT.

Hey, don't you think Olly's work is really great ? I think everyone does, even if it's not perfect (yet..) . We should respect his work, because without him & CloneCD:
a) too many protections
b) too much time lost on every CD, and you have to use patches too !
c) a big headache for every new S**edisc version, etc.
So, what's the point ? Just pay for the program - like I already did, obviously - and thank him for the good work.
My two cents is that the more time Olly spends on the protection, the less he spends on the Cl**eCd itself ! Just think about a future version where you can drag&drop YOUR protecting schema without losing precious time editing cue files...
Remember, what Cl**eCD permits was a dream only one year ago !
