CyberLink PowerProducer 3 Encore Delivers Unbeatable Performance with New Video Editing Tools

Taipei, Taiwan----May 3rd, 2005----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a world leader and pioneer in providing integrated solutions for the Digital Home, announced today the release of PowerProducer 3 Encore, an enhanced version featuring new magical editing tools and certification for reliable DVD authoring and burning.

The new features build on CyberLink's intelligent DVD authoring technologies, offering even easier ways to design and burn stylish DVDs.

"PowerProducer 3 Encore adds to the speed and simplicity of creating DVDs with new magical editing tools," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "Magic Cut, Magic Motion and Magic Clean give users greater control over video editing and provide a hassle-free experience for fine tuning clips before arranging onto a DVD."

PowerProducer 3 Encore supports the latest DVD disc and burner technology, including Double Layer discs and 16x burners. Recent certification for RW and RAM compatibility, PC recording and PC authoring, provide greater reliability in playing DVDs created with PowerProducer 3 Encore on consumer disc players.

For the Japanese market, PowerProducer 3 Encore includes a Commercial Cut feature for removing TV commercials from captured TV. Also, the implementation of Copy Protection Rights Management (CPRM) lets users preview and append - but not duplicate - copy-protected discs.
