DENON announces two new devices - with MP3 support

Denon is known in the audio market for its high quality audio devices. The company makes devices for professional-use and consumer-use and they are internationally recognized for their standards of quality, durability and innovation.

The company has now announced two new models, the DENON DN-C615 and the DENON DCM280 that both support the playback of MP3 files.


The DN-C615:

Built with DENON's trademark quality engineering, the DN-C615 features CD-R/RW playback, with a pitch control of +/- 12%, and MP3 playback with intuitive folder/title search. Direct Track buttons are available, as well as CD Text. Modes include a 'Repeat' mode for single tracks, all tracks, programmed tracks and random tracks/ There's also a 'Random' mode.

10 seconds of shock-proof memory is invaluable, and other neat features include a preset, selectable Auto Cue. 'Playback' mode is also preset as well as selectable for Single Track or Continuous Play.

General features include a tidy, standard 19 inch 2U aluminium front panel. User preset functions are available via an IR remote sensor or a wired remote control terminal. Other standard features include Power On play, FL tube display, and coaxial digital and headphone outputs.

Grrr, if I didn't already have the DCM370 then I'd be interested in getting this new DCM280. My unit doesn't even play CD-RW's Frown I hope this sort of trend continues (higher quality brands jumping on the mp3 bandwagon).
