DVdReMake Pro is updated to version 3.3.1

We have received word that the author of DvdReMake has updated this software to version 3.3.1. There are not many changes this time, especially if compared to the 3.3 release. But, we did not mention that update last December 22 which was quite significant. If you missed it as well, you can see the changelog here.

This product is a stand alone executeable with a nice interface for quickly editing DVD movies for backup purposes. Powerful, yet easy enough for a even a newbie to use, DvdReMake can remove unneeded information, such as audio tracks, warnings, menus, etc. This can of course help to reduce compression requirements for a better looking copy or even make it unnecessary for fitting the resulting file to a single layer DVD recordable.

What's new in this version: 3.3.1 05 Jan 2006

  • show VMG title index for each title in Titles view

Bug fixes:

  • delete title does not correct PGC-Title assignments
  • erroneous message for "force action button"

In addition to the DvdReMake capabilities DvdReMake Pro provides all the functionality needed to edit DVDs:

  • Put multiple DVDs together preserving original menus;
  • Replace menu background with still;
  • Move and insert new chapters on an existing dvd;
  • Edit VM commands (all commands and valid combinations are supported);
  • Edit and create new TitleSets, Titles, Chapters, ProgramChains, Programs;
  • Delete TitleSets, Titles, Chapters, ProgramChains, Programs;
  • Move TitleSets, ProgramChains, commands within the disk or between different DVDs;
  • Find DVD navigation errors;
  • Reorder menu buttons;
  • Easily follow DVD navigation using "Goto Destination" and History pane;
  • Change properties of the video, audio and subpicture tracks;
  • Modify buttons and color schemes in either still or motion menus;
  • Easily change highlights colors

tried only demo (did not let me export or save) 1. pretty slow & not very responsible (3+ghz p4) 2. very unstable (crashed more than half the time) 3. not so automatic (deleting pgc won't clear the references automatically) since it did not let me export, i am not so sure how reliable the result is. based on the frequent updates, i don't think this software is without much of problem like most other expensive software, this one is also bit buggy Wink

This is a great tool. It works like a charm on my machine and have not behaved strangely on more then a handfull DVDs for me. Its very easy with some try outs to fix most annoying DVD backups that the other DVD tools are not able to fix. It was well worth the money asked for the license.
