Klipsch Audio Technologies is a company that's known for their knowledge in both design and audio solutions. With their goal to attract "upper-echelon customers", they come with an environmentally friendly approach to offer a handcrafted piece of furniture. The company's flagship product, Palladium P-39F floorstanding loudspeaker, uses not a zebrawood veneer but a look-a-like.
Zebrawood has the right look-and-feel and is very popular with a certain group of people, but currently this wood-type is considered threatened in its native habitat. "With the P-39F, we too are trying to reach upper-echelon customers using a distinct, zebra-striped veneer, but we've found a way to lessen the impact it has on our mother Earth," says Paul Jacobs, president and COO of Klipsch Group.
Through a press release Klipsch tries to show its will to offer products that are both enviromentally friendly and good-looking.
