ExtremeMHZ reviews the triple format LG GSA-4120B
Here is the LG again, this time over at the ExtremeMHZ site. As you may know, This drive offers you quite a bit of flexability, 12X write support as well as double layer writing.  In addition, it sports DVD-RAM writing. They think that it is this feature that makes the drive stand out for them. Here is what the reviewer had to say about it.

While I have read some negative articles regarding DVD-RAM, I would have to disagree with most of the comments made regarding its future and functionality. Honestly, I love this format and is significantly better than DVD+-RW in terms of performance, reliability and ease of use.

Unlike Mount Rainer, DVD-RAM truly allows you to use an optical disc as if it were a floppy or hard drive on your system. Formatting these discs take no longer than 5 seconds and moving data to and from the disc is fast and requires no third party tools, other than the drivers required to make use of this format in a windows environment.

You can visit the site to read the rest of what they had to say about this hardware from LG. Please feel free to post comments here or in our Recording Hardware Forum. As a matter of fact, Moderator Kenshin has posted an excellent thread there already. The thread is quite active even after 4 weeks and has some interesting information about this drive. Especially concerning DVD-RAM. If you like this drive or are interested in DVD-RAM, go over and say hello to Kenshin and tell him thanks for the information he provides us with.
