After watching the Olympics rather intimidating opening ceremony, I can confidently say that one day we will all watch whatever format China tells us to watch....
Well, we're already watching the DVD's that they manufacture... DVDR's at the very least.
The original article says "Leading Taiwan-based makers of optical discs attempts to...".
Who that might be?
Quote "After watching the Olympics rather intimidating opening ceremony..." Intimidating? Are you kidding me?! Movie director Zhang Yimou did such a fantastic job with the opening ceremony and it's one of the best I've ever seen.
No I am not kidding. Even the announcer said the same.It was plain to see that the ceremony was to showcase China as an emerging world power. They didn't spend £20billion, without some government "intervention". Having said that, I agree, the show is/was without equal. The imagination and creativity of director Zhang Yimou was something to behold. He has set the bar so high, I doubt it will ever be topped.
