Virtual CD v6 has been awarded with the Microsoft predicate "Designed for Windows XP" certified driver, the first product of its kind to receive such a rating. This qualification demonstrates the clean integration of the driver in Windows XP and gives the user a high working stability and optimal performance. Especially important in professional environments this driver certification guarantees reliability.

In contrast to the trend to complicated, confusing user interfaces, H+H Software GmbH puts emphasis on a clear design that can be adapted to the needs of the various users..

With a particular focus on the professional employment of Virtual CD the encryption of virtual CDs according to the AES-256bit Standard has been fully implemented. This feature lets you store even confidential data safely and, at the same time, easily and flexibly accessible.

In the new version Virtual CD offers creation of Smart Virtual CDs on DVD blank discs. Hereby you can store a number of virtual CDs on one blank disc and use them on computers that have no program Virtual CD installed.

If you have a large collection of CDs, With Virtual CD v6 you can catalogue even large collections of physical and virtual CDs and directly print information about your CDs.

As usual Virtual CD v6 offers you full network support. Thus PCs with an installed Virtual CD v6 can simultaneously access the stock of virtual CDs without needing a physical drive. An expanded client set-up gives the system administrator the possibility of creating an adapted version of Virtual CD v6 for the installation on the client PCs.

The function "Central Network Mode" has been significantly expanded in Virtual CD 6 and is integrated in the new Virtual CD v6 Network Management Server (NMS) as of Version 6. with the Virtual CD NMS even larger virtual CD-Networks can be conveniently and reliably controlled and managed. The integrated license management for inserted virtual CDs guarantees best possible legal security when using software applications. H+H will launch Virtual CD NMS in the 25th calendar week.
