Havin, new portable MP3 CD-R(W) player from Waitec

AZteRiKZ used our newssubmit to tell us that Waitec has released Havin, a MP3 CD-R/RW player.
The player is able to read ID3 information and supports Variable Bit Rate from 8 to 320 Kbps.
The display has a back light and on the display you can find out information such as the title of the track, the singer and the kind of music.
The recognised formats are: ISO9660, Joliet, Multi-session, Enhanced CD (CD EXTRA), and Mixed CD. It is also able to recognise the standard format ID3 Tag, nowadays widespread in the MP3 files. It is provided with rechargeable batteries (lasting up to 10 hours), and current adaptor/batteries recharger. Headphones, manual and its remote control, complete the standard retail pack. The antishock system guarantees 480 seconds in the MP3 format, and 40 seconds in Digital Audio. Havin also reads CD-R and CD-RW of both 12 and 8cm. CDDA and MP3 CD Player, CD-R and CD-RW single session and multisession with variable bit rate capability. |
As you see it also has a remote control and an anti-shock system. Nice device, but what's the price ?

Had a quick glance at this but as far as I can see 1 major floor NOT firmware upgradeable. Anyone interested in this product should also check out the Rio Volt either on Rio's webby or gotto the MP3.com forums for more info and also details on the forthcoming Rio Volt 2 with features such as LCD display on the remote, built in battery charger, 10 cd memory ect ect and of course firmware upgradeable.
