KaZaA 2.1 has been released - only its interface changed?

Sharman networks has released a new version of KaZaA, worlds most popular file sharing software. According to their website the software update only has some changes to the interface, but the software is known for including a lot of options that display ads, track downloads and other things not everyone likes to install on their computer.


  • New Web Interface:

    Restructured KMD Showcase, includes sections for audio/music files, computer games, software, video content and 'Kreate'.

  • New Playlists:

    More pre-loaded playlists, with new genre categories.

  • New Skins:

    Customize the basic desktop interface with new looks.


    • Before installing this new version be sure to read the license agreement to be sure you are not allowing the company to do things with your computer you don't like. On the other hand, millions of people are using this software so if something is wrong, someone will find out soon enough! Download can be found here.
