LG BH100 HD-DVD / Blu-ray hybrid player reviewed @Engadget
Finally they did it: Engadget published a review of LG BH100 player, the first HD-DVD / Blu-ray hybrid standalone available in the market.
Even if it is called "Super Multi", this player is not able to read CDs and it does not support HD-DVD's interactive menu feature (HDi), but if you are interested only in movie quality, then you can easily renounce to this frilly gadget.
Other than Hi Def movies, this standalone is able to play "old" DVDs with its upscaling feature, to reduce pixellation when you watch a classic DVD on a large screen.
Are you curious? More details are available in the review.
