We really lucked out this time, because LG USA was nice enough to send us a GSA-4166B Super Multi DVD-Writer with LightScribe! This drive supports 16x DVD+R/-R, 8x/6x DVD+RW/-RW, 5x DVD-RAM, 8x/4x DVD+R DL/-R DL writing and with the LightScribe thrown in on top, you also have direct disc labeling.Not too shabby!

Here's what you get inside the box: The internal drive itself (of course). Software included as follows: Nero 6 OEM Suite, Nero Express with InCD, PowerDVD, PowerProducer Gold, Nero Express with InCD, Acrobat Reader on one disc. Then on the Super Multi DVD Drive CD they provide the owner's manual. Along with the software comes an IDE cable, audio cable, mounting screws, quick setup guide and then the guarantee documentation.
Paul does the usual extensive gamut of tests for all media supported by the drive and this is about anything you can think of. Then he even steps us through a labeling of a LightScribe DVD with SureThing labeling software. For those of us that have our eye on drives that can handle DVD-RAM and especially the newer 5x burners, you don't want to miss out on this LG unit.
