LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling Ready for Windows Vista

LightScribe has announced that its Direct Disc Labeling technology is ready for the upcoming launch of Microsoft's new OS, Windows Vista.  The company's development team has worked closely with Microsoft to prepare for the new OS to support its existing features and benefits as well as add AutoPlay functionality such that consumers are given the option to burn a LightScribe label once a blank disc is loaded.

LightScribe is currently licensed to over 70 companies and its new support for Vista now makes LightScribe compatible with the latest versions of Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X and popular Linux distributions.  The new LightScribe system software for Vista is available to download for free from the LightScribe website here.

LiggyI would never exchange a printed DVD for a Lightscribe or Labelflash one. puke When using refill ink, printing is much cheaper than using laser labeling systems and it looks much better anyway.
