Vivitar is a company known because of their cheap video cameras. Their latest offering hasn't received a detailed specification list yet, but many believe it won't be bad... The Vivitar DVR565HD records in H.264/MPEG4 high-definition at 720p with a frame rate of thirty frames per second. Vivitar's newest product plays back at 1080i and comes complete with HDMI cable for playback on HDTVs.
Besides this small list we know it will be available in black and silver and is described by Vivitar as "compact in shape and size". A 3-inch colour display that you can easily flip out and a rechargeable lithium ion battery finishes the spec list. The camera also supports SD cards up to 4GB and is available next month.
Something we all have to remember when looking at this product, is that there is a big chance it will be extremely cheap... If so, what do you think of the product's specs compared to the 'low price'?
