MSI announces that LEDs and Blu-ray will be big in 2008

Like every company also MSI forecasts what 2008 will bring to us. The company sees more colorful screening through LED backlighting technology. LED (light emitting diode) creates a better picture and offers more energy saving compared to mainstream backlighting technologies like CCFL.

Currently MSI goes combo with its high definition drives. The company hasn't made a choice between HD DVD or Blu-ray. Sam Chem, director of notebook PC sales, predicts that the company will be likely to offer Blu-ray drives only in 2008. If this will be done soon isn't sure yet, since being combo isn't bad either.

What the company will do to save energy and stay eco-friendly isn't sure yet, but that it is on the agenda is true. How will we see all this back in their notebooks? Anyone? If you buy a notebook, we plant a three? ;)

We will know all this when they release their newest notebooks during the end of March.
