MainConcept announced that the company has licensed its MPEG-2 Pro and DVCPRO HD SDK to Gorilla Science & Technology. Gorilla will embed MainConcept’s technology into the latest version of MAGS (Media Asset Generation System) to be released in the near future.

Gorilla’s MAGS solution is positioned as the premier tapeless solution for transferring analog or digital audio and video from one format to another digital format to facilitate better and faster production, repurposing, archiving, collaboration, and distributing of media assets. To provide high quality MPEG-2 Pro and DVCPRO HD file processing capabilities within MAGS, MainConcept’s SDK will be embedded into the MAGS architecture.
