Major Taiwanese LCD panel makers will operate during the holidays

With the holidays coming in February many companies will stop all their operations in Taiwan. The Lunar New Year is an important holiday for the Taiwanese, but major LCD panel makers will not stop production.

AU Optronics, HannStar Display and CMO will maintain their production during the Lunar New Year (February 6-11). In light of the upcoming holidays some customers postpone their shipments to early March.

AUO forecasts a decline of shipments (-10%) in February.
