Not really a serious question, but just a curiosity about a fancy gadget that I found at
Tech-On. InnoDisk developed an USB flash memory drive that has a connector block made of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) integrated with the main body. In fact, seems that this material has a higher resistance to abrasion and heat.
According to InnoDisk, PEEK material is easier to produce (i.e. shorter manufacturing times) and allows also a higher flexibility because it can be easily modeled in any form.
I wonder if the material used for connectors really makes a difference...
