Efluxmedia reports that Microsoft has announced that it will cut the price of it's HD-DVD add-on for the Xbox360. The company announced that it will lower the price of the device with 20 EURO's. This would mean that the drives would retail on the European market for about 180,- EURO which would be the equivalent of about $230 at the current rate.

Last month the company already announced that the price of the HD-DVD add-on would be lowered in the United States. The price went down from $199 to $179.
