Let's face it: Solid State Disks (SSD) are a really interesting solution for laptops. Amazingly fast and low consuming drives, even if their maximum capacity is way far from "conventional" hard discs there is anyway enough space to install an operating system and a lot of software, making them the ideal solution for technicians that need a computer for their work and the maximum portability (and battery duration).
At the moment there are two main drawbacks that slows their diffusion: the very high price and the durability in time (that seems a really serious issue,
as reported recently).

"Solid State Disks are not created by simply assembling flash memory into a unit; there's a lot more to it."Ok, now that I made you curious what are you waiting for? Go and read
