New Blu-ray players announced by Sony

The BDP-S500, set to retail for about $700, features full 1080/60p and 24p True Cinema output, 7.1 channel linear PCM and Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, as well as DTS-HD High Resolution Audio bitstream output via HDMI version 1.3.
The BDP-S2000ES, priced $1,300, has the exact same feature of the cheaper BDP-S500, but shows several differences in construction like “dual shield construction,” to prevent dust from collecting on the disc drive, a rigid beam chassis that reduces internal vibration, and so on.

Haha, if you look at a close up of the expensive player on the linked site, they mispelled Blu as Bul... Bul Ray? as in Bull Sh*t?
Quite funny even though I have no allegiance to either Blu-Ray or HD-DVD... but I do prefer the specs of Blu-Ray.

Wow you have really got to love your porn to pay these kinds of prices. I mean wow! You have got to be all up in it. I don't think anything could stop those kinds of vibrations.
Guess the no dust thing will be handy when in 2-3 years time, it's sitting in box together with your Betamax VCR.
