Panasonic Japan announces slim external SuperMulti DL writer
Panasonic's first DVD+R DL writer is a slim portable USB 2.0 DVD burner with the model name LF-P767C. Besides burning DVD+R DL at 2.4x speed the LF-P767C also supports 8x/4x DVD±R/RW, 3x DVD-RAM and 24x/10x CD-R/RW when connected with an AC adapter. The burner can run on only USB power too but with a limited write and read speed.

Unfortunately the LF-P767C is probably a product intended only for the Japanese market just like most of Panasonic's retail DVD writers. More information about this drive is available here.

Yup they aren't a big player in the dvd recording business but this drive packs a pretty good punch judging by it's size.
