Paramount starts Blu-ray adventure
After choosing for HD DVD in the ended format war, Paramount has unveiled its plans. The major studio will introduce three catalog titles on Blu-ray and hopes its re-entrance on the high-def market will be a success. Travolta and Cage will soon shine on Blu-ray in the studio's classic 'Face/Off'.
Besides 'Face/Off', also 'Next' and 'Bee Movie' are planned for a Blu-ray release on the 20th of May. Initially 'Bee Movie' was scheduled for its HD DVD release in March, but after the format's withdrawal the studio scrapped its plans. The studio has also announced that they've more releases planned in June.
Last August the studio chose the red camp after a reported $50 million payment. Probably the only gain they got from the format war.

Good thing the mortgage bailouts & inflation can keep us from having to produce something of any quality in the first run.
