Plextor Europe releases new firmware for PX-W4012TA(U) drives

Plextor Europe has just released a new firmware version for their PX-W4012TA and TU (external USB 2.0 drive which we reviewed here) drives. The changelog is as follows:


PX-W4012TA V1.03

Fixed Bugs:
  • Hang-up after eject of playing disc on Windows 2000 CD Player
Added:
  • Support for newer CD-R media
  • Support for newer HS CD-RW media
Improvements:
  • Write performance for various discs, types and speeds
