Plextor Japan releases new firmware for Plextor PX-708A
Count used our news submit to tell us that Plextor Japan has released firmware 1.05 for the Plextor PX-708A DVD recorder. Although the changelog is only available in Japanese, AltaVista's Babel Fish translation reveals us that this new firmware improves high speed CD-R recording and DVD recording quality and adds support for more DVD-R and DVD-RW media.

Plextor PX-708A firmware 1.05:

  • DVD record efficiency improvement of media
  • The high-speed record efficiency improvement of CD-R
  • New DVD-R correspondence of media
  • New DVD-RW correspondence of media
