Plextor introduces CD/DVD duplication towers

Plextor announced the introduction of several new duplication towers. They are available with one, three or seven drives and feature 18X DVD and 48X CD recording speeds. Plextor says that the towers create high-quality recording for low-volume applications. Each drive can burn eight DVD discs or 22 CD discs per hour, and supports dual-layer DVD-R/+R and DVD-ROM recording.

There are three models, a single-drive PlexTower PX-DTS100, a three-drive PlexTower DTS300 and ofcourse the seven-drive PX-DTS700. USB 2.0 interfaces are there to ensure easy connectivity and fast data transfer with PCs running on Apple and Microsoft operationg systems.

At the end of this month, March, Plextor will start shipping its duplication towers to distributors in North and South America. The price is high, the DTS100 costs $365, the DTS300 costs $599 and the DTS700 will plcost you $999.
