Plextor, for all your over priced crap puke Is still anyone believing the Plextor king of quality hype?

Yes, people like me who have owned Plextors for years. Having used a number of cheapo units that have died within a year or less, my Plex burners (3 of them) still provide flawless burns. But there's plenty of under $40 stuff available for bottom feeders... loveit

Hey We've had numerous C2 Errors from our new Plextor drives as well as DL burning errors and Import errors on Audio? What's going on with this drive?..It's usual to have the odd glitch here and there in audio but not on this scale. Very disappointed.. back to using a trusty NEC drive at the moment as I actually have no trouble with at all! When I researched this drive before bought it everyone was saying how good it was so i bought 2! only a couple of months later I find other people complaining with similar issues and I'm stuck with 2 of them. To and now the power supply has blown.. This is a cheaply made expensive drive! Don't go on previous Plextor past good reputation.. Everyone seems to think this particular drive is LG inside.

Yet another comment attached to a year-old review *sigh*. Don't CDF have a "statute of limitations" on stale stale stale issues and the dopes who add posts to them? puke
