Plextor releases new firmware version for PX-W4012TA/TU

Thanks to dfua and nosource we can inform you that Plextor Europe has released a new firmware version for their PX-W4012TA (internal) and PX-W4012TU (external) drives. This latest firmware has the following changes:


PX-W4012TA V1.04:

Fixed Bugs:
  • Incorrect behaviour in self-diagnostic mode
  • Incorrect identification of CD-R formatted by DirectCD on Windows XP

    Added:
  • Support for newer CD-R media

    Improvements:
  • Write performance for various CD-R media
