Prodisc certified for 16x DVDR discs from Pioneer and for 8x DVD-R discs from DVD Forum
GristyMcFisty used our news submit to tell us that Prodisc has obtained certification for its 16x DVD+R/-R discs from Pioneer and an A Grade Lab certification for its 8x DVD-R discs from the DVD Forum according to an article on Digitimes.com.

According to local makers of optical discs, OEM prices stand at about US$0.35 for 8x DVD-R discs and about US$0.45 for 16x DVD-R discs |

I've always found Prodisc to be good quality.

DL rewritable would also be nice. That and the constant speed increases on both the plus and dash RW and DL formats should keep DVD engineers busy for the next couple of years at least.
