Roxio releases Easy Media Creator 9 deluxe suite
A press release published today announces that Roxio has launched Easy Media Creator® 9 Deluxe Suite, i.e. Roxio's all-in-one music, photo and video burning suite.

Creator 9 Deluxe Suite includes Pinnacle’s Dazzle video capture device, which enables users to transfer video from analog camcorders or VCRs to their PC for digital output in MPEG-1, DVD-quality MPEG-2, or H.264 (MPEG-4). Creator 9 also includes DivX Pro, advanced auto editing tools and 10 new professionally-designed menu styles that allow users to generate Hollywood-style DVDs.

Creator 9 Deluxe Suite is available directly from Roxio and leading retailers in February for a suggested price of $149.99 (about €115).

$149 is bit pricey. Youu get some decent software to all your editing and conversion still save aroung $50, however I DO like Easy CD creator classic (probably the best and simplest cd writing software in the world)

Yuck - rather buy Nero which is better and probably cheaper I'd imagine too!

r_saotomeOr...if you have simple data burning needs, try the build function in the freeware app, ImgBurn.

Roxio 9 is "Hardly" new. It was released in the 3rd quarterof last year. This is just a rehashed version with a few extras. Don't waste your money.

Dont forget Burn at once is another free app that works great. If I had to buy a burning app it would be Nero. Roxio products are known to cause problems with alot of programs .
