SanDisk
announced a new secure data storage feature to USB Flash Drives through the use of RSA SecurID Two-Factor Authentication Technology. This technology will be managed by the by SanDisk CMC (Central Management & Control) Software, that will operate with RSA SecurID software included with the pendrive.
All files stored in the pendrive will be protected with a hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption; together with a password created by the user, this will prevent data stealing from unauthorized people.
SanDisk Cruzer Enterprise drives with pre-installed RSA SecurID software tokens, as well as CMC software with a module to support RSA SecurID two-factor authentication, are available for order but currently there is no information about proces.
